the detroit red wings have signed former san jose' sharks (and khl) goalie evgeni nabokov to a one year, $570k contract with a no movement clause...but, he must pass through waivers...
ummmmmm, darcy?....opportunity knocks...remember when hasek demanded a trade to detroit and you got back nothing in return?...
don't be a wuss, go for it...
we all know miller needs to be spelled and that lalime can't get the job done...or do you consider patty to be one of the "core players" of your cup-contending team?
unlike all the other bottom-six players that have gone through waivers and were claimed, nabakov represents a solid goalie who will help the club...
once again, i'd gladly have the paramedics blast me with a defribillator if you made this move...don't worry about me or any other sabres fan having a heart attack, just get it done...
